Bourbon and Beef Roast
4 potatoes -- quartered
2 carrots -- cut 3" pieces
2 celery stalks -- cut 1" pieces
4 pounds rolled roast - (to 5 lbs)
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon basil
4 ounces bourbon
1/4 cup water
Put all in slow cookere in the order listed. Cover and cook on LOW 10 to 12 hours.
