2 - 3 lb. chuck roast
1 pkg. stew mix vegetables (or par-boil fresh vegetables)
1 packet dry onion soup mix
2 cups warm tap water
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
Cut beef into large pieces. Combine beef and vegetables in slow cooker. Mix dry soup with water; pour over beef and vegetables and stir. Cook 4 hours on HIGH. Remove beef and vegetables from slow cooker; place in serving bowl/platter. Mix tomato paste with remaining juices in slow cooker. Pour over beef and veggies.
