4 lb Canned baked beans (any brand)
3/4 c Diced onion
1/4 ts Onion powder
1/3 c Light (yellow label) molasses (Use 1/2 c if you want them sweeter)
1/4 c Ketchup
1/4 c Open Pit BBQ sauce w/onions
1/4 c Granulated sugar
1 lb Hotdogs, chopped into bite-sized pieces
Put beans, onion, onion powder, molasses, ketchup, bbq sauce, sugar, and hot dogs in a slow cooker; stir gently to mix. cook on low for about 8 hrs.
If the "sauce" comes out a bit runny, just leave the lid off the pot for the last hour or two to let some of the moisture evaporate.
