Ham And Scalloped Potatoes
6 To 8 slices Ham
8 md To 10 Potatoes, peeled, thinly sliced
1/2 ts Cream of tartar
1 c Water
2 Onions -- peeled/thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c Grated Cheddar or American cheese
1 cn 10-oz Cream of mushroom soup
Toss sliced potatoes in 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar and 1 cup water. Drain. Put half of ham, potatoes, and onions in slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then grate cheese. Repeat with remaining half. Spoon undiluted soup over top. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. (High: 4 hours)
