Ham, Bean, Vegetable Soup
1/2 pound dried navy beans, soaked overnite and drained
4 Cups water
1 pound cooked ham, cubed
1 onion sliced
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 green pepper cut into strips
1 hot pepper
1 carrot sliced
salt and pepper to taste
1 (10 oz) pkg frozen mixed veggies
1/2 head cabbage chopped
Place beans, water, ham, onion, garlic, green pepper, hot pepper, carrot, salt and pepper into slow cooker. Cook on low for 12-14 hours. Add veggies and cabbage. Cook on high for 1-2 hours until veggies are tender.
