Baked Potatoes or Baked Sweet Potatoes

Regular Potatoes: Scrub and well-grease potatoes -- and put into slow cooker. (It will hold about 12) Cook on Low about 8 - 10 hours. Do not add water. Sweet Potatoes: Place washed, unpeeled sweet potatoes into the slow cooker. Add about 1/4 c. water. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour; THEN on LOW for 6-8 hours until potatoes are tender. *Can also do the same with whole or split acorn squash. If split, wrap in foil.
