French Dip Sandwiches

3 lb. rump roast -- (3 to 4)
1 pkg. au jus gravy mix -- (1 oz.)
1 pkg. Italian dressing mix -- (1 oz.)
1 can beef broth -- (10.5 oz.)
1 1/2 cups water

Mix together au jus, Italian dressing mix, broth and water. Pour over roast in slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 8-10 hours. Shred or slice roast and pile onto hoagie buns. Wrap sandwiches in foil and heat at 350F for 10 minutes. Reserve au jus broth for dipping sandwiches.
