Barbecue Beef

3-4 lb boneless roast
1/2 cup celery
1 onion chopped
2 tbls butter
3/4 cup water
1 cup ketchup
2 tbls vinegar
2 tbls lemon juice
2 Tbls Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbls brown sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 can tomato soup

Sauté in the butter, the chopped celery and onion. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and stir. Cook on HIGH heat for 1-2 hours then turn down to LOW heat for another 5-6 hours. Note: This can also be done in the oven. Bake at 325 degrees until tender (about 5 hours.) Check once or twice during cooking time and add water if needed
