Braised Short Ribs
4 pounds beef short ribs
Salt and pepper
2 medium onions, sliced
1 1/2 cups beef broth or water
Roll short ribs in seasoned flour (about 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper)
Brown well in large skillet
Place sliced onions in slow cooker.
Add browned ribs and broth.
Cover, cook on low for 7-10 hours or high for 4-6 hours.
