Corn Chowder

1/4 lb cooked bacon, chopped
2 onions, chopped
3 Cups diced potatoes
1-1/2 Cups corn kernels
2 Cups water
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp paprika
1 Cup milk
1 Cup cream

Fry bacon, crumble, and set aside. In the same pan saute onions in bacon fat till transparent. Put into slow cooker. Add potatoes, corn, water, salt, pepper, and paprika. Cover and cook low for 6-8 hours. Before serving add the milk and cream and heat through. Garnish with bacon. Serves 6
