1 1/2 Lbs beef chuck roast -- or pot roast
1 Lg Onion -- sliced thin and then cut 4 times
1 C Catsup
1/3 C Water
1/4 C Brown Sugar
3 Tbsps Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 Tsp Chili Powder
1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
Put onions in bottom of the slow cooker and then put frozen roast on top of onions.
Mix the barbecue sauce ingredients together in a bowl and pour over the meat. Reserve 1/3 cup for later. Do not have to add water. Cook in the slow cooker on low for about 8-10 hours. Remove the meat from the pot and shred with a fork. Strain the onions and mix with the meat. Add some of the broth from the slow cooker and some of the reserved sauce. Serve on hoagie buns.
