2 pounds round steak -- sliced
1/3 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon granulated garlic
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 medium onions -- sliced
1 1/2 cups water
3 tablespoons beef broth powder
2 4 oz cans sliced mushrooms -- (or 8oz fresh)
1 6 oz contain sour cream -- (ff) or yogurt
Toss steak strips with flour and seasonings, place in slow cooker with onions, mushrooms, water and broth. Cover and cook LOW 8-10 hours. Before serving, combine sour cream and 1/2 cup flour (or left-over coating flour mixture). Stir into slow cooker and turn on HIGH for 15 minutes to 1 hour or until thickened. Serve over whole grain noodles.
