Polynesian Veal

2 pounds boneless veal shoulder -- cut into 1" cubes
1/4 cup water
1/4 sherry
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon artificial sweetener

Brown veal in nonstick skillet. Mix remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Stir in veal. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 4 to 6 hours. This recipe yields 4 servings.
