1/2 pound dry pinto beans -- soaked overnight, and drained
1 pound ground beef -- browned
1 large onion -- chopped
1 can tomatoes - (28 oz)
3 tablespoons chili powder
1 can chile peppers, mild or hot - (4 oz) -- chopped
1 teaspoon freshly-ground black pepper
Seasoned salt -- to taste
Put all ingredients in a slow cooker in order listed. Stir once. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
