Breakfast

1/2 cup short-grain brown rice
1/2 cup millet
1/2 cup barley
8 cups water
1/2 cup dates -- pitted, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon lemon juice

Prepare the night before!. Thoroughly wash all the grains and drain.


Add all indredients into slow cooker and stir to mix. Cook on Low all night.


In the morning, stir and serve with milk, cinammon and brown sugar.


This recipe yields 6 servings.
