Plain Old Pot Roast

Potatoes
Carrots
1 Onion
1 Envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1 cn Campbell's golden mushroom soup
4 lb (about) beef chuck roast


Peel carrots and cut into 2-3 inch pieces. Place in bottom of slow cooker. Peel potatoes, cut in half if large otherwise leave whole. Place on top of carrots. Sprinkle meat with onion soup mix and place on top of other ingredients in slow cooker. Quarter onion and stuff alongside meat. Top with golden mushroom soup. Cook on high till done, 5-6 hours (until you can pull the meat apart easily with two forks).
