Spicy Italian Roast

2 Rump roasts, 3 lb.
2 ts Garlic salt
1 cn Mushrooms,8 oz.;drained
1 lg Onion;diced
2 pk Spaghetti sauce seasoning Mix
1 cn Tomato sauce (15 oz.)


Season roasts with garlic salt. Place in slow cooker. Add mushrooms and onion. Combine seasoning mix and tomato sauce. Pour over all. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. (high 4 to 6 hours) To thicken gravy: make a past of 4 T melted butter and 4 T flour. Add 4 T tomato paste. Stir into meat drippings in slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for approx 30 minutes or until thickened. Serve over hot pasta.
